Yes. The AI tutor, voice mode, and practice sessions are free for every JHS and SHS student — no card, no catch. Pro features like unlimited sessions and parent dashboards are in development.
Does it work on any phone?
Yes — Nufiala is a web app that runs on any modern Android or iPhone, and it's optimised for slow data connections. No app store, no install, no fuss.
How is this different from ChatGPT?
Nufiala is tuned to the GES syllabus and WAEC examiner standards, with worked examples set in Ghanaian contexts. It refuses to go off-syllabus on core subjects, and its answers are screened for factual accuracy in maths, science, and English.
Is my child's data safe?
We collect only what's needed to personalise learning — name, year group, and subject choices. Conversations are never used to train public AI models, and you can delete everything with one tap.
Which subjects are covered?
Core Maths, English, Integrated Science, and Social Studies — for both JHS and SHS students. These cover the full GES curriculum and WAEC exam requirements for BECE and WASSCE.
